You hear a rumor about man who lent a dagger to a female orc. It seems the orc gave it back after some minutes complaining that the dagger spoke too much.

A man has been seen wandering the isle, no purpose, no goal just wandering. The only distinguising factor being the embossed black plate which covers his body..

As you pass by the well on the marketplace you may have the feeling that something is missing. Where is the lively, cheerfully girl with her flute?

"She hasn't been seen around since Chaks death", you hear.

Eine Orkin, die sich sonst recht oft in der Stadt rumtrieb, scheint seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr gesichtet worden zu sein. Einige Minenarbeiter wollen sie weit im Norden gesehen haben. Sie soll ein Blood-Skull-Brandmal auf der rechten Schulter haben.

Einige Schwätzer meinen hingegen, dass sie eines Abends von aufgebrachten Bürgern niedergeschlagen wurde...im Zorn auf die Skulls.

A figure resembling Alun Terod is seen on a few occasions conversing with a cloaked presence just behind the northern end of the library, the mysterious figure's face not visible to anyone. Their conversations have been going on for several days, each at the same time of day. At the end of this day, the figure believed to be Alun steps closer to the stranger and hands him or her a small bag. The package seems to sag from the weight of its contents. The figure walks off into the shadows and the man thought to be Alun Terod wanders towards the main square of town. Word around Troll's Bane is that there is a plot underway and that secret dealings are being made, though this of course is just a rumor.

A man preaches in Troll's Bane square to all that will stop long enough to listen that the land is cursed by Oldra because people have lost all respect for her and the land. Only when the greedy and disrespectful repent will the curse be lifted.

You hear John lost to the onionball champion, but later got his first win against a dwarf.

You hear a theif and murderer was caught by the guards...

As you enter the library you can see that someone messed around with flour in the vestibule.

Your hear some people laughing and talking about an ogre who smoked too much Sinabac herbs.

You hear a rumor about a Knight of Kallahorn slaying a lizard for a Druid.

You hear that a boat docked at the island early this morning and two elves, a male and female board and leave. Some think that the elven woman was the magic-user Persephonie

You hear that a woman was brutally murdered out side of the tavern by what seems an assassin

One person says: "She had been stabbed in the stomach, and had her throat sliced"

Another person says: "The murderer also cut words into her arm spelling -Scarlett Banshees-"

Yet another gossiper says: " There was a note too! It said something about what heppens to people when they cross the Scarlett"

You hear a rumour about an assassin, who has been exploring the island for quite some time... You hear he dug little X's at certain spots.. yet noone knows why...

At the marketplace you hear antsy people speak:

Tis rumoured that the skulls are not very happy about someone leaving.. they see him as a traitor; he had taken an oath when he became a skull, and now the oath is broken.

You hear the skulls hunt the orc named Lorck.

Word has it that Caitlin Fergus of the Druids of the Forest is engaged to Moskher Heszche, the notorious schemer who was involved in the founding of Varshikar.

One can see a figure lurking the streets. A figure passes by people like a ghost, it seems to be watching the people of trollsbane.

The figure is only seen as a cloaked figure, more like a blurr to the eyes as the person moves so quickly.

some claim the person to be wearing all black leathers and a hooded cloak.

You hear a rumour about a dagger that travelled the land, passing by many hands, just to come back to it's owner.



You also hear some people talking about a ventriloquist who pretends to have a talking-weapon.

You hear two women talk:

Woman 1: I heard that Caitlin, from the druids of the forest has a romance with Pendar from the town guard.

Woman 2: Weill, but I heared that she's engaged with Moshker, so that can't be true.

Woman 1: I just told you what I've heard. Don't get all hysterical abou it, my dear.
