In different regions of the isle some rats with an originally white collar got free by an elfess at night. There mission fails and you may find residuals. It may be dead or heavily wounded and some blood strains glue its fur. There is a note, what is battered as well.
The note contains a number of prepared brakes with text on.

Kyre leaves William to get some rest after their long talk, eyes blurry with needed sleep when she sees a movement, a scurrying of something small in the near dark. Slowly her ungloved hand raises as she begins to whisper a spell at the same time the blurred outline is finally seen clearly and a grin replaces the frown on her lips. Changing the spell, she freezes the frightened creature while walking toward it mumbling "I won't hurt you this time but won't guarantee the next" as a parchment is removed and read in the flickering candle light. Chuckling she adds another parchment "Be gone before I change my mind, go find the elfess" If the elfess is finally found, the newer easier to read parchment is attached to the rat.

I can't read all your message but am back and ready for lessons. We need to meet. I am staying at Tol Vanima for a little while, your rat will probably be safe to send here....well, from everyone else.

"That’s the double fee?”
The man nods.
“You cannot be serious!”
“It’s Mas.” The man answered.
Celegail looks annoyed into the eyes of the man “No! I’m not as weak that everybody can rob me!”
The man takes the rudder out of the water.

Short after, the ferry boat bobs up and down in a distance from the Tol Vanima harbor.
“It’s your decision Madam. Pay the normal fee but swim the last distance. It’s Mas and there might be madness mummies. If I take the risk, you have to pay for.”
The Elfess collects the coins displeased. “That’s kidnapping! May Nargun fill your boat with water once he is alone with you!” she mumbles.
With a movement that could be close to a blow she hands the man the coins and shout “Go on!”

Minutes later her feet touch the boat bridge. Without any word and look back she walks toward the settlement.

Reaching her bed she recognizes a waiting rat. “Hey you are the first messenger back!” She strokes the animal, feed it a piece of a cookie and takes the note.
Nodding with pleasure in face she reads the note, stroking the rat all the time. Finally the elfess takes the tousled rat carefull in both hands and holds it close to her eyes.
“Your name will be Nargi furthermore” she whispered softly.
Luckily she falls asleep within a few minutes later.
"Tomorrow" has been her last word.
