How do you feel right now?

The charm of this game is rapidly dwindling for me. I look at the illa desktop icon and I sigh. It's barely even worth getting IG anymore. I haven't been able to log in for weeks because I know I won't be adding anything to the game.

The grind is killer. I don't even mean the skill grinding.

The gem system blows.

I know that you get what you put into this game, but there isn't anything really going on. There are only 10-15 players online at any given time. You make one enemy and pretty much in order to RP you have to be constantly around them. There's nobody else to play with! The luster of the RP has diminished and for the most part this game has a nice layer of dust covering everything.

I've had more fun playing Runescape this past week than I have playing Illa in years. I sincerely hope this is just some kind of illa-funk I'm in. For those players who have been playing as long or longer than I have, you all remember how the game used to be. The VBU scares and gives me hope. It can make or break it for me. In the grand scheme of things, Illa doesn't need me.

I love this game, I really do. I want to like this game, but I think it's just not there anymore.

Arcia, I know exactly where you are coming from in many aspects if not all but sometimes you just got to keep on going. There IS some fantastic RP and characters (and players behind them), around even for such a small number count. And yes your right it is hard to play a little bad (a little much of anything), even more so for as you said, you have to sit with them and sulk after a good arse kicking. But just keep poking your head in where it don't belong, doing the rounds of the few little groups about. While you might not fit into them as a character, if you pass my way I'll always give you a little RP or opportunity to expand on something even if to chase you off! lol

But then sometimes, as with everything in life. We just don't feel the vibe.

Arcia, I understand what you are saying but don't think you realize how much your char/roleplay has added to the game. I have more then one char that has seen yours and even mentions your char's name (this just recently). Yes...you rest and don't feel you HAVE to play.. but also remember those good times and remember your char HAS and continues to make a difference in this game unlike many games you would play.

Stressed and stupid, because I can't speak icelandic and I can't seem to remember those stupid - I mean, those wonderful, beautifully varying - flections of any word they invented. Only thing they don't seem to change is the fact that everything always changes... gnaaaah.

Unbelievable

Depressed... Still no solution for my laptop problem and exams all the time, so no time to go and solve it. All I can do is wait for the package and hope, hope, hope...

And glad that I live together with someone whose laptop I can borrow at least for a short while when she doesn't need it herself - that angel!!! That makes things easier ^^.
